South Dakota Guided Fishing invites you on an ice fishing adventure on the beautiful lakes of South Dakota. Your fishing grounds will include the glacial lake region in the northeast that includes more that 120 glacial lakes. This beautiful region was formed some 20.000 years ago when the last of a series of glaciers moved across northeastern South Dakota creating glacial bowls filled with crystal clear waters.
South Dakota Guided Fishing will pre-drill the fishing holes for you, mount the ice shack, and provide excellent guidance on ice fishing. Captain Jarrod loves ice fishing and possesses first-class ice fishing equipment that includes Vexilars, Aqua Vu’s, and Clam shacks.
The glacial lakes of South Dakota are fish-rich and contain a healthy supply of Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, and more. These species are available throughout the year in many of the lakes so you can always target your preferred species based on Captain Jarrod’s advice on where you should go fishing.
You will use ST. Croix legend gold series rods because their spring bobbers are considered the best when fishing for massive Perch. There will also be reels, lures, live baits, and even cleaning and filleting of the catch. All you have to bring is a fishing license and weather appropriate clothing so you can enjoy a day out no matter the season.
If you choose an open water trip during the Spring and Summer months when the ice turns into crystal clear and abundant waters, you will go out on a 20-foot Lund aluminum fishing boat originally built in 2014. Powered by two 225 HP Verado engines this boat is fast and reliable. It is equipped with the finest Humminbird and Lowrance electronics, and the necessary safety gear.
Captain Jarrod will provide excellent customer service and selflessly share his vast knowledge with you. Book your trip today and start counting down the days until your next adventure!
