Captain John will take you out on his 15-foot Boston Whaler center console powered by a 70 HP Yamaha engine. This boat is perfect for getting to the hard-to-reach spots in the bays and back bays of south shore. Fitted with navigational equipment such as a GPS, a fishfinder, and a radar, this vessel will get you to the most productive spots with ease.
You will have all the fishing gear on board that includes fly fishing equipment, conventional rods, reels, tackle, and live and artificial baits. If you are not experienced with fly fishing, Captain John can teach you all about this type of fishing using his vast knowledge and patience.
Captain John Ferarra will take you fishing for Striped Bass, Porgy, Fluke, Scup, Blackfish, Weakfish, Black Seabass, Bluefish, and False Albacore. These species can be found in healthy numbers in the Long Island area and are fished for using a variety of techniques such as light tackle, fly fishing, and spinning.
