Located on the beautiful East coast of North Carolina, Morehead City has been known as one of the best fishing destinations in the world for many years. This area offers exceptional year round fishing for many different species of fish and the experienced crew of Energizer Sportfishing will put you on them.
Captain Pete Zook is the owner and operator of Energizer Sportfishing and works with Captain Daniel and first mate Grey. Together, they make a knowledgeable and expert team. Offering half day morning and afternoon trips, as well as full day, and 12-hour Gulf Stream trips, they pretty much have you covered on whichever species you want to target.
Morehead City is the home base of one of the biggest offshore fishing tournaments on the East Coast. This fact alone tells you that fishing here is extraordinary. With Energizer Sportfishing team, you could be targeting tournament-worthy Mahi Mahi, Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Kingfish, Wahoo, and Yellowfin Tuna.
Using a variety of provided Shimano rods, Penn reels, tackle, and bait, you will target any species in season. Your captain will advise which species you can target for the time of the year you go out, and they’ll dish out the pro tips, too. Your fishing license is also included in the trip price, so all you have to think about is some food and drinks for the day.
