Great captain and crew.  Would definitely recommend Captain Pete Jacobsen for any of your fishing needs.  Positive attitude with exceptional service.  All the target species we wanted were no problem with Captain Pete.  I have personally taken dozens of charters out of the keys and will definitely use him again in the near future.  For a laid back, extremely productive day out on the water, this is your captain and your boat.  Captain Pete and deck hand Mike, thank you both for a great fishing experience second to none.

We originally booked for Monday, but the weather called for solid rain so he offered to move our trip to Tuesday.  Weather was cool with light rain early on Tuesday, but it was great to fish in. 
We caught Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna and a couple other species.  Captain Pete and 1st Mate Matt were awesome to fish with.  They listened to what my family was looking for, and gave us a great day onthe water with plenty of fish to bring home.  They both took the time to explain things, and I learned how to rig the outriggers and how to set up the bait for the different species we targeted.  This was more than just taking us out and hooking fish for us to reel in, it was a great experience that my family loved.  We will be booking with Captain Pete again next summer to hit the big Mahi Mahi bite. The boat was clean and had plenty of seating for our family too.

Captian Pete called us the night before to give us details.  We were able to watch the sunrise. The boat is a fishing boat, not a luxury liner. A More Primitive vessel than not. There is a toilet, no a/c or fully closed in area.  We caught lots of great fish. 1st mate Ryan and Captian Pete worked hard, kept us all engaged and made sure we had a great time. My teenage boys had a blast! We all did. Highly recommend.

Sent my husband and college age kids/nephew out for a half-day trip with Captain Pete. Wanted them to have a good experience and actually catch some fish (never been fishing before). Mission accomplished! The Captain and first mate knew the places to go, baited and set the hooks, and gave all the instructions for reeling them in. Everyone caught something…including a 7-foot nurse shark! We kept 3 for dinner, that Captain Pete cleaned and fileted for us. They even gave instructions on how to cook them. Fantastic day for sure! (bathroom on the boat was a definite bonus!)

We had a fantastic time with Captain Pete and Ryan. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with the fishing and were great with my two kids (3 and 5 year olds). As with any fishing there is no guarantee the fish will cooperate or the weather for that matter. We lucked out with both and everyone had a blast. If you are looking a family friendly experience. I would recommend Captain Pete. He also recommend a restaurant called “The Catch” that cooked our fish, it was delicious! .. thanks again Pete
