Clearwater FL, United States

Capt. Brian Inshore Fishing Charters is an exciting opportunity to take in the beauty of the Clearwater area. Join the captain for a fun day out and explore the fishing opportunities of Florida without having to go far out.

Captain Brian will take you out aboard his 23-foot Dorado center console, originally built in 1994 and uphauled in 2009. It comes powered by a 175 HP Suzuki 4-stroke engine and has a maximum cruising speed of 32 knots. Perfect for accommodating up to four guests, it is rigged with modern navigational electronics and safety equipment. There is also a wireless trolling motor fitted for quiet ride, as well as a live well loaded with bait.

Your Clearwater charter will begin early in the morning. By the time you meet with the captain, he will have already left the dock to net bait, usually scaled sardines. After greeting and stowing away your belongings, you will be welcomed aboard the clean and spacious boat.

The backwaters of the beautiful Clearwater area offers a variety of fishing opportunities. You can go to the reefs close to the shore, stalk the flats for Snook and Redfish, chase the “Silver King” Tarpon. You never know what you may find at the end of your fishing line! Spanish Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, King Mackerel, Grouper, and even Blacktip Shark are among the popular catches.

During the day, you will be able to see many different and rare sights, be it ospreys diving to grab small fish right out of the water, porpoise foraging on schools of mullet or rays leaping high out of the water.

All fishing trips come with Penn Reels, St. Croix Rods, and owner fish hooks. Captain Brian uses Ultra Cast fishing line and Seaguar Fluorocarbon elder material. As well as that, you will be provided with licenses, drinks, and bait. The captain can send your catch home cleaned and ready to go straight into the frying pan. Please note, that smoking is not allowed aboard the vessel.

About the Captain

Brian Caudill
Clearwater, Florida, United States
Member since April 2017
Captain Brian Caudill is a friendly, patient, and knowledgeable guide. He started fishing when he was a small child back in Kentucky. He used to go out with his father and fish the streams, lakes, and ponds for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Rockbass, and everything else that would bite. In the late 80’s, Brian moved to the Tampa Bay and began exploring the inshore waters of West Central Florida. His father encouraged him to turn his passion into a successful career. Brian has taken part in various tournaments and has won a few, including the Professional Redfish Tours many local events from Clearwater to Tarpon Springs, and CCA’s Redfish/Snook series in Punta Gorda. In 2000, he got a U.S.C.G. license and began taking clients out and introducing them to the Florida West Coast. It’s his pleasure to work hard and putting all of his clients in the right place.
