Arroyo City Outfitters – Port Mansfield
Family-friendly and pet-friendly. Bring your dog! Arroyo City Outfitters specializes in sight fishing crystal clear water where you can see the fish eat the bait! They fish from Port Mansfield, Texas, and are operated by Captain Ryan Falls. Ryan has fished the bay waters since he was a boy and has always loved fishing. When the time came for Ryan to choose a career, it was no surprise he became a fishing guide.
The 24’ Dargel flats boat is powered by a 200 HP Evinrude engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots. The vessel’s onboard GPS will show you the fish in deeper water, and the two sighting towers located at bow and stern. The vessel is equipped with life jackets for safety, which kids are required to wear at all times. There is also a livewell for the bait and an icebox for the catch, which will be cleaned and filleted by the captain.
Captain Ryan will take you fishing for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Mangrove Snapper. These species are normally caught by throwing lures, and sometimes by using live bait, though Ryan will make an estimate and advise you accordingly. The trip options you can choose from are five-hour morning or afternoon trips, or full day trips which last eight hours.
Arroyo City Outfitters will give their all to making your fishing trip a true adventure. Whether this is your first time and you are eager to learn, or your frequent activity, Captain Ryan can accommodate you. Rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided for every trip, and all you have to bring is a Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp. It’s useful to have a hat, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, drinks, snacks, and a cooler large enough for all your catch!
