Fishing trips on the Gulf Coast of Florida with Captain Tim is exciting for any angler, no matter the age and expertise. You will go out aboard a 22-foot Sea Ray bowrider. Originally built in 1992, the vessel was upgraded in 2017. It comes powered by a 300 HP Mercuriser 454 Mag engine and has a maximum cruising speed of 5 knots for a quick and dry ride. Perfect for accommodating up to six anglers, the boat is fully outfitted to help you make a splash. It is rigged with safety equipment and the latest navigational electronics, including a GPS, a VHF radio, and a Helix 7 is fish finder. There is an ice-box fitted to store the refreshments and the catch, along with a live well loaded with bait.
Captain Tim offers shared and private charters. The trips are from four to eight hours on the water. Catering to beginner to catch their first ever fish, introducing kids to fishing or sharing fish knowledge with hard-core anglers, Captain Tim has it all. You can go fishing the edge of flats, check what is biting within 9 miles from the shore, fish the inshore waters from 3 to 70 feet deep. You will be able to test yourself in a variety of fishing methods, including bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, drift fishing, and kite fishing.
Your targeted species will include Tarpon, Permit, Sheepshead, Redfish, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Seatrout, Flounder, Silvery Grunt, and even Gag Grouper. The captain will provide you with quality gear, tackle, and bait to make a great catch possible. And if you just don’t feel like fishing, there is a sunset cruise waiting for you. Watch the dolphins passing by and playing in the boat’s wake!
If you have a party of more than 4 people, you will need to purchase additional licenses. There is also a private parking spot available.
