It was a day out fishing with dad for Adam and his crew so off we headed towards and beyond Margate. I have a favourite spot on the edge of a sandbank that the Thornback Skate like so armed with plenty of herring and big juicy lugworm we started fishing. As usual the doggies are first on the scene devouring our baits but then sure enough the Skate get a taste of the bait and we catch some nice ones that Adam releases. As the wind picks up we move inshore where some school Bass take a liking to the lugworm, tasty fish but again they are returned. After some more Skate are landed and released the day is over and we head back to Ramsgate. Adam is smiling, we enjoyed his and the crews company.
