Florida Reels Fishing Charters invites you to experience the thrills of fishing the Ruskin, Florida waters. The charter is operated by Captain Christopher Taylor, a Tampa native who has fished the local waters since he was a boy. Captain Chris offers two, four, six, and eight-hour trips in the abundant shallow waters of Ruskin.
Fishing is done aboard a 21’ Clearwater center console originally built in 2019 with a capacity for up to 4 guests. Powered by a 70 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, this boat is super fast and steady. It features a GPS and a fishfinder that will both aid you in locating the best fishing spots, as well as a livewell for the bait, an icebox for the catch, and all the safety features.
Your trip will take you in search of Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, Cobia, and more. Depending on the season and what is biting, you can do spinning or light tackle fishing. If you are a beginner, Captain Chris will happily provide as much assistance you need in order to make your charter productive and your day on the water a lifelong memory.
Florida Reels Fishing Charters will provide you with everything you need to make the trip successful including top-class rods, reels, and tackle. You will have live or artificial baits depending on the season and the fish you are targeting, a fishing license, and a fish cleaning and filleting service at the end of your trip. All you have to bring is a big cooler to transport your fish in.
