Fishin Fannatic Sportfishing 

We throughly enjoyed the trip. We shifted our trip from a Tuesday to Friday because a a big storm. The process was very easy. We first headed to the ship wreck area and everyone cause at least one fish. However there were fish only good for bait, not eating. So we moved to a differently location and trolled the rest of our time. No more catches but that fishing. 😁 The boat showed its ware, however that just shows the years of experience they have. The lounge is quite large and has AC. My only suggestion is it would be nice if cold bottled water was available. That’s just for the customers ease. Rather than the guests having to pack and bring it. Not sure this type of fishing is for me. But if it’s what you are looking for I would recommend Cpt Mark and mate Tom. Both supper knowledgeable and helpful.

After taking a fishing trip in Florida the kids were less than excited for the mornings planned event. During the ride you good see they were again just along for what was planned. The shipmate noticed the vibe and his communication towards them was amazing. By the end of the trip all I heard from them boys is, When can we do this again and can we take an all day trip next season! Just what you want to hear from a group of kids that actually caught fish in the sea and two took ate fish for the first time in their lives! We had a blast because Fish Fanatics took the time and energy to ensure the family loved the experience!

Wonderful Captain wonderful first mate. Boat is awesome me and the kids caught our fill of Spanish and blue fish will be back to go out deep !

We spent a morning fishing with Captain Mark and First Mate Dillion and had a fantastic time. We caught a ton of fish, fed 12 people at our family reunion and still froze lots for them to take home. Thanks again to Captain Mark for a few great recipes for cooking the fish. Great time!!!

Went down to Nags Head to celebrate a bachelors party. None of us fish, we all have very limited experience doing anything like this. I normally don’t write reviews but this fishing trip turned out to be the highlight of the trip and was truly a memorable experience. Captain Mark and Lee were both very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to talk to. We ended up doing the afternoon trip starting at 11am, no way we were getting up at 6am. In total, we ended up catching 30lbs of ribbon fish and a shark. Shark was safely released, the ribbon fish were not so lucky. People at the dock will clean and process the fish for you. Ribbon fish taste amazing, we ended up frying them like Captain recommended. Overall, I highly recommend going on this trip. Bring a cooler filled with beer and enjoy the day with good people. Thank you Captain Mark and Lee, we truly had a blast.

We booked at the last minute online, and they gladly accepted. This was a first time experience for my family, and with 3 young kids, I was somewhat leery about going. Captain Mark and his 1st mate are very knowledgeable, and taught my kids a lot! They had a lot of patience, and made the trip enjoyable for all 5 of us, kept the kids entertained, made them laugh, and put us on some fish. It couldn’t have been a better first time experience, and we really enjoyed the trip. I plan on booking an offshore trip with them in the near future. Thanks Fishin Fannatic Sportfishing!!
