Belton TX, United States

All About Stripes specializes in Hybrid Bass fishing on Lake Belton, Texas. The company is run and operated by Captain Jeff, who is a knowledgeable and experienced guide. He starts his day by catching live bait before his guests arrive at the dock. His hard work and enthusiasm is second to nothing. If you want to enjoy all that Lake Belton has to offer, you have found the best guide. Jeff also offers a discount for military service members!

You will go out aboard a ’99 19-foot Blue Wave center console, which is a well-maintained fishing machine. It comes powered by a 90 HP Mercury engine and is ideal for the local waters. It provides comfortable fishing space for up to three anglers and is fitted with a GPs and a fish finder.

Fishing for Hybrid Striped Bass on Lake Belton is a rewarding experience everyone should experience. Especially when you will be guided by such an experienced and knowledge tournament-winner! The season reaches its peak in mid February and goes trough May, although fishing is good year round. Hybrids are tough fighters and are very fun to catch. Since the fish don’t typically reproduce, the daily limit set by Texas Parks And Wildlife is 5 fish 18+ inches per person.

Once caught, the fish can be cleaned or released, it’s all up to you. If you decide to keep the catch, Jeff will send it home ready to jump into the frying pan. Hybrid Bass have firm flaky fillets and are mild tasting, which makes it great table fare.

Each trip comes with rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures.
