Go Coastal Guide Service

North Holiday Drive
Galveston TX, United States

Go Coastal Guide Service offers fishing excursions to the Galveston Bay complex as well as the Galveston Jetties and beachfront. For over 25 years, Captain Jacob has fished inshore, offshore, and the jetties of Galveston. He knows where the fish are and knows how to catch them and is more than happy to share his knowledge with you and your party.

Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Cobia are the species most commonly targeted on inshore and nearshore trips. When the season is right, you might also catch a Spanish Mackerel or a Black Drum in the jetties, either North or South.

You will be fishing aboard a 24’ VIP center console originally built in 2000, and restored in 2009. The Evinrude engine, with its 300 HP and a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots, will get you to the best fishing spots quickly so you can enjoy the fishing. And the GPS and fishfinder will reveal where the fish are below the blue line.

The vessel comes equipped with life vests, flares, first-aid, and a CPR-trained captain all available for the safety of you and your family. Captain Jacob can take four guests fishing on the charter, so make sure you bring three persons with whom you want to share the magic of fishing in Galveston.

Go Coastal Guide Service provides rods and reels on all trips, but it you have a favorite pair, you are welcome to bring it along. The baits and the tackle are supplied, as are ice and water. You will only have to bring a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License and some food for the day. It is advisable you wear sunglasses, a hat, light protective clothing, white-soled shoes, and bring a cooler to transport your fish home in.

I have always loved being on the water. I have spent a large part of my life fishing the Galveston area and decided there was no better way to spend my days than watching my guests catch fish.
