Captain David operates a 34’ well-appointed Pelican Bay Boatworks commercial boat originally built in 1988. It is powered by new twin 225 HP Volvo D4 engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots. This boat is excellent for fishing trips inside and outside of the Golden Gate Bridge featuring a GPS and a fishfinder, an ice box, a livewell, all the safety gear, and a toilet, which is a huge plus if you are taking the whole family out.
Warrior Poet Sportfishing provides full tackle with Avet reels and custom 270L rods from Surf City Anglers. They also include lures, live baits, snacks and drinks on all trips. Once you return to the marina, you will have a complimentary fish cleaning and filleting, so bring a cooler in order to transport it home or to a nearby restaurant to be cooked for you.
You’ll need to purchase a fishing license before the day. Don’t forget the Sturgeon Report Card if you’d like to be able to retain a white sturgeon!
If you are looking for a fun day on the water, fishing for delicious fish species and enjoying epic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco, Warrior Poet is an excellent choice for you and your family!
