Mk Sport Fishing invites you to enjoy the quiet and solitude of a drift trip in the beautiful Washington state. The charter is run out of Tacoma, WA, with departure points being flexible to suit the season and the anglers. Guide Mike has been fishing the local waterways his entire life and is always in the know of which river or stream has the best fish for the time of the year.

Mike will take you fishing aboard an 18’ custom drift boat with a capacity for up to 2 adults and 1 child. Please note, children must be 8 years of age and over, and have parental supervision. The vessel is perfect for the shallow water and will take you to even the remotest fishing locations, with drift fishing being considered one of the most flexible techniques there is when targeting river species.

Mk Sport Fishing will take you fishing for Steelhead and Salmon, which can both be found in good numbers in this area. You can even go as far as Astoria, Oregon when the season permits crossing of the Columbia River. Depending on the time of year, Capt. Mike will take you where the fishing is best, whether it’s in the Columbia, Cowlitz, Humptulips, Satsop, or Chehalis River.

The vessel contains all the fishing gear you will need for a productive trip including rods, reels, tackle, and live and artificial baits. You will have a fish cleaning service at the end of the trip with Mike packaging your fillets into 1-gallon bags ready for transport. Therefore, you should bring a cooler in order to transport the fillets home safely.
