Welcome aboard the best party boat in Key West, Florida! These waters are abundant with delicious fish species you will be able to target with the Salty Goat Fishing Charters crew. They will teach you anything you need to know about fishing and make sure you are having a great day on the water.
The Salty Goat is a 50’ Markley commercial USCG-inspected vessel, originally built in 1994 and restored in 2017. It is powered by a turbo-diesel 400 HP Cummins engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 17 knots which means you will get to the reefs quickly and make the most of your fishing trip.
The vessel is fitted with the latest safety equipment such as life jackets, EPIRB, and a CPR-trained crew, as well as a GPS and a fishfinder. It’s rated to carry over 30 passengers comfortably. Please note, all trips are shared public trips.
The captain will take you fishing in the reefs around Key West and put you on Mutton, Yellowtail, and Mangrove Snapper, as well as Black, Gag, and Red Grouper, and Amberjack. You will target the fish using light tackle, bottom fishing and flat-lining techniques.
The professional crew will be happy to bait your hook, reel in your fish, and put it in on the ice unless you want to release it. Once the trip is over, you can have your catch cleaned, filleted, and bagged. The crew can recommend a local restaurant where you can have your fish cooked for a great end of the day!
Come and explore the plentiful waters of Key West on an exciting trip with Salty Goat Fishing Charters!
Please pay attention when booking a trip for a family - make sure that you book trips separately for adults and kids as prices differs.
