Captain Joe’s Angling Adventures invites you to fish the beautiful and abundant waters of South Louisiana with Captain Joe Gaudin. You can fish in Shell Beach, Louisiana and have access to the Breton Sound and the Biloxi Marsh area with tons of fishing every season of the year. Captain Joe is a patient man who makes everyone on board feel welcome and works to make your trip very successful!
You can fish for great specimens of Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder in the shallower waters, and Black Drum and Sheepshead in the nearshore waters. Captain Joe normally uses light tackle, trolling, popping, bottom fishing, and jigging techniques. He is a great teacher from whom you can learn a lot about fishing.
The boat is a 24’ Blue Wave center console originally built in 2016 with a capacity for 5 guests. It is powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 60 knots and gets you to the fishing grounds fast, safe and comfortable. The vessel features life jackets for safety, a livewell for the baits, and a GPS used to locate the best fishing spots.
Captain Joe’s Angling Adventures will provide you with rods, reels, and tackle, and you can bring lures. Captain Joe will also have light snacks and drinks on board for refreshment, and he can clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip so you can take it home for dinner. You are welcome to bring an ice chest, a hat, sunglasses, and lots of positive energy!
