Bite Me Sportfishing operates a fleet of awesome vessels out of Kailua-Kona, HI, taking groups offshore in search of top pelagic predators like Marlin, Ahi (Yellowfin Tuna), Ono (Wahoo) and much, much more.

The 'Bite Me 4' is one of the finest vessels in the fleet, easily able to carry groups of six out to the deep blue waters where their fishing dreams await. This 38' Hatteras sportfishing vessel may only cruise at 15 knots, but that does not matter when you can catch Marlin within a few miles of the shore!

The vessel is equipped with everything you will need for your day on the water, including GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, and a fighting chair. The Bite Me 4 also has a spacious flybridge to take in the views in style, and an enclosed head for extra comfort on longer trips.

During your trip, you will be fishing the well-known 'Grander Alley' for a whole range of big, colorful, and delicious sportfish. Blue and Striped Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Spearfish all call these waters home at various times in the year, and the experienced crew at Bite Me Sportfishing knows the best place to find them. Take a seat aboard the boat's full-sized fighting chair and get ready to bring in a monster.

Not only will the crew show you how to catch the fish, but they will also help you rig the lures, reel in the fish, and even clean and fillet your catch for you back at the dock. Whether this is your first time on a boat or you have been fishing all your life, they will work hard to make sure your time with them is worth every penny.

4 bites in a 4 hour trip
Half Day Trip — Shared - 10:30 AM on April 28, 20262 adults
We had 4 bites throughout the trip. Great Catch: We successfully reeled in 2. We released a spearhead since it was our second of the day—leave plenty to go around! The reault was an absolute win. We’re heading home with a fresh catch and are going to have an amazing dinner tonight.

We Caught A Fish
Half Day Trip — Shared on May 18, 20263 adults
We bought the half-day shared charter. Out by 6:30am. Back by 10:30am. Each person was given a number from 0 to 5. This corresponded with the time on a clock. Number 0 was from on the hour to 9 after the hour. Number 1 was from 10 after the hour to 19 after the hour and so on. The woman who caught the fish brought it in within 10 to 15 minutes, without assistance. The first mate skinned and filleted it with 10 minutes. Everyone took home 1/6th of the fillets. We all want to be the one in the chair, but it was nice to see some action and get fish to tale home. Mahalo to Bite Me 3 Fishing for a good morning in Kona!🤙🏾

great crew
Half Day Trip — Shared - 10:30 AM on April 5, 20263 adults
loved everything about the trip, exept we didnt even get one bite on a line. tough situation because obviously the crew cant make any guarantees. They worked their butts off to get us some fish, but they just weren't biting. Basically paid for a 4 hour boat ride.

Mahalo Patrick. We are sincerely sorry that the fish weren't biting during your trip; we know how disappointing that can be. While we always work hard to find the best spots, sometimes you can throw everything you got and still not catch. We hope you still enjoyed your time on the water, and your overall time in Hawaii. Sending our Aloha.
