Tailin’ Boner Charters is owned and operated by Captain Muff Roberts who specializes in offering a first-class fishing experience. Captain Muff has been in the fishing and boating industry for over 25 years, fishing all around the world, and prides himself on providing guests with a high-quality charter experience, complete with a knowledgeable captain and well-maintained vessel.
Tailin’ Boner, a 29-foot Luhrs, features an air conditioned cabin, bathroom with shower, generator, 2 bunks that also serve as a couch, a table, refrigerator, microwave and is spacious enough to accommodate as many as 8 fishermen on board. Tailin’ Boner is equipped with a conventional range of marine electronics and navigational gear, such as GPS, fish finder, spot tracer, radio, as well as satellite radio and a 30’ flat screen tv for your enjoyment.
Grand Bahama is a great place to catch some of the world’s most popular game fish species and with a massive drop-off just off the southern shore, from one hundred to thousands of feet deep, you won’t have to travel far. Depending on the season, Captain Muff will help you catch Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Barracuda, Snapper, and a variety of other species frequenting the area. Tailin’ Boner Charters will supply you with all the fishing gear for the trip, along with bait, drinks, and a good time.
Captain Muff will guide and educate you on the best technique for catching each species and will happily clean and fillet your catch and recommend a restaurant that will prepare your catch for a reduced price.
