AMI Charters specializes in inshore and nearshore fishing charters off the coast of Anna Maria Island. Come aboard with Capt. Scott, an experienced guide who enjoys nothing more than helping people catch fish. He will provide a personalized fishing experience and a day on the water you won’t forget!
Step aboard a 22’ Triton 220 powered by a 150 HP Yamaha 4 stroke engine. This craft has a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots and can carry up to four anglers in comfort. On board you will find all the equipment you need, including GPS, fishfinder, and a live bait well.
You can catch a variety of species while fishing inshore and nearshore around Anna Maria Island. Come aboard and target Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Permit, Jack Crevalle and even the legendary Tarpon when in season. For an especially hard-fighting catch, you can even try your hand at wrestling with a variety of sharks, from Blacktip and Bull Sharks to Hammerheads. Your trip is tailored to your interests, so tell Capt. Scott what it is you’re hoping to catch and he will do what he can to make it happen!
Capt. Scott provides Penn fishing gear, lures, live bait, and fly fishing equipment. Your main technique will be spinning with light or heavy tackle, but Capt. Scott is more than happy to help you target your catch on fly, as well. If you are interested in trying this technique for the first time, he can also teach it to you. Be sure to discuss your interests with him ahead of time, as this may affect your choice of location and charter time.
AMI Charters provides a fishing license and all the gear you need. Children are welcome, but please note that fishing trips longer than two hours are only recommended for children age four and above.
Book your trip today and come aboard for an unforgettable experience fishing the waters of Anna Maria Island!
