You will be fishing from a 20’ catamaran, named Nawty Girl. The vessel is suitable for smaller groups or anglers who would like to go out fishing without all the frills and comfort of a larger boat and keep things simple. She is well equipped and has a covered T-Top area up front by the helm. The boat is powered by two 90 HP Mercury engines, with a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots.
Once onboard, you will find a fighting chair, outriggers, and downriggers. The boat is fitted with GPS and a fishfinder, and stores life jackets. Nawty Girl can take on harbor waters as well as tides further out. You can try trolling, jigging, spinning or fishing on the fly, depending on what you’re after.
You will get the rods, reels, and top drawer tackle. Take out a fishing license in one of the tackle shops or post offices. Food and drinks are available at an extra cost.
Luckily for you and your fellow anglers, Blue Water Charters has two boats in their fleet. If you can’t find a spot on Nawty Girl, just scroll down, click on the captain’s name, and check available dates on his bigger boat.
