Trip Summary
Greetings.
Fishing out back of Flamingo has been stellar. Many windy days have forced me to navigate the backcountry waters of ENP, where I've sought moving water, structure and baitfish. On the days where I've found this combination, we've found the fish! Speckled trout, Snook and Redfish have made it boat side over the last mont! On our past two trips we've landed 30+ Speckled trout, 1 over slot Redfish and two 10+ lb Snook (pic attached). Ariel and Manny brought these bad boys boat side with a variety of baits and rigs. One was caught on a live shrimp, bounced off of the bottom and the second on a sub surface walker Rapala plug, both on 40 lb leader fished around structure and moving water. We've worked the rivers that feed Whitewater bay as well as the rivers feeding to the gulf on a dropping tide!
Good bite is on, I have some availability this month and next.
