Imagine yourself aboard “Pipe Dream,” a 48’ Viking originally built in 1987 and restored in 2016. This vessel is one of the few of its size in the area. Powered by twin 735 HP Detroit engines with a maximum cruising speed of 21 knots, she wastes no time getting to the fishing grounds. On board you will find advanced technology, both for fishing and for your entertainment. This boat can carry up to eight passengers in comfort and children are welcome.
“Pipe Dream” is run by an experienced and bilingual captain and crew. On the way to your destination you can enjoy the luxurious comfort of this vessel. There are three air conditioned state rooms on board with full bathrooms. In the remodeled salon you can lounge on a spacious couch and enjoy your favorite movie on a big screen TV. This boat also features a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator, and a stove. Two mates are standing by to serve you food and drinks and to make sure your trip goes smoothly.
While aboard you can target some of sportfishing’s ultimate prizes, including Marlin, Sailfish, and Yellowfin Tuna. You are also likely to catch Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Roosterfish, and more, using a variety of techniques both inshore and offshore. You may keep your catch and the crew will clean and fillet it for you.
CR Sportfishing provides all the fishing gear you need. Passengers 18 and older must purchase a fishing license for $15 at the dock entrance (this is required by the Costa Rican government, whether you plan on fishing or not). The crew is happy to help you with this.
