Superfly's Guide Service
Superfly’s Guide Service offers unique fishing trips on coastal rivers of Aberdeen, Washington. If you’re looking for angling and want to come back to its roots, Capt. Joe’s service comes really close to the origin. Steelhead and Salmon are the main prize, and they can grow pretty big around these fisheries.
You’ll be fishing from a drift boat of Fishrite make. There is no outboard engine, so you will get a unique angling experience. There is a trolling motor to give you a slight push, but currents and paddling will be your energy source. The captain will provide life jackets, and there is an ice box onboard. Up to three anglers can come along.
Capt. Joe’s an experienced fisherman, and has been guiding people for over two decades. He will make sure your experience is worth the while. He runs trips year round in search of big Salmon and Trout. He knows the right spots and will take you there.
When you come onboard, the captain will supply rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. He will clean and fillet your catch, so that you can take it home, and have a tasty meal after the trip. Please remember that wild Steelhead must be released. Other than that, feel free to keep or release the fish you catch.
Depending on the season, you can look for Coho, Chinook, Trout, Dolly Varden, Steelhead. There is a variety of techniques to try out, including spinning and jigging. If you’re more of a fly fisherman, Capt. Joe would be glad to accommodate you, but just make sure to bring your own equipment along.
When packing for the trip, don’t forget a fishing license. Put on boots, adequate clothes, pack food and drinks. As the fish here can grow super big, bringing a camera is a great idea. You will want to capture the memories of your Washington fishing trip.
