Let Captain Les with Fish On Charters bring his 40 years of fishing experience in California Lakes and coastal waters to get you on the fish and maximize your time on the water. He holds a 100-ton Master License issued by USCG as well as a Guide License issued by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Your vessel for the day is a brand new 2020 21’ Sun Tracker pontoon, with a 90 HP Mercury engine. It is a perfect trolling platform for Lake Trout and landlocked Salmon like Kokanee. This boat has plenty of room for your family and friends with comfortable seating for everyone. A large Bimini top insures there is always shade. Controlled depth fishing is achieved with 4 Scotty electric downriggers, while Hummingbird and Garmin sonars help us locate the fish. Captain’s main goal is to be fish productive with an emphasis on fun and safety for his clients.

The day will be spent on Northern California Lakes. If you have a preferred space to fish let Capt. Les know, and he will happily tell you if the bite is good there currently, and if it is, take you over.

Species you’ll be targeting include Chinook Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Steelhead, and Brown Trout. Lake Berryessa, in particular, is considered one of the top spots for California lake fishing, where you will find the largest Kokanee salmon in the state. With a capacity of 6 anglers on board, you’ll have plenty of space to fish without bumping elbows.

Included in the price are all the rods and reels for the day. These are top quality and won’t let you down when reeling in your trophy catch. After the trip, Capt. Les will fillet your catch for you. You just need to decide how to cook it!

Before the trip, you will need to purchase a valid California fishing license. You are welcome to bring along your own food and drink on this trip.
