Clearwater Custom Charters invites you to “catch a memory” fishing the pristine inshore and nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico out of Clearwater Beach, Florida. You can customize your half day trip with a start time of your choice! Depart at 8:00, 9:00, or 10:00 am. Spend your time on the water with a family owned and operated company that has decades of experience plying the waters around Clearwater Beach.
Clearwater Custom Charters operates a 27’ Loa Grady White sportfisherman with a cuddy cabin that includes a toilet for privacy and convenience. Built in 2013, it has plenty of space for up to six guests. The vessel is powered with a 325 hp 5.7 Vortec engine and is fitted with top-notch electronics to save you time while searching for fish.
Their mission is to provide everyone aboard with a safe, fun and memorable experience, the captain always follows the bite. Captain Chuck hails from Montauk, NY where he primarily targeted Mako Sharks and Tuna. In Clearwater, FL he still targets a variety of Sharks to provide his clients with the ultimate thrill of tangling with the rod-bending, tackle-busting, toothy denizens of the deep.
You will be fishing the clear turquoises waters in and around Clearwater Pass along the beaches or the nearshore waters depending on your trip selection. While Sharks and Cobia are high on the target list, Grouper, Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Snook, Seabass, and many other species are always possibilities as well. When relaxing between the bites you will likely see dolphins passing by and possibly see giant sea turtles, manatees, and who knows what else!
The boat provides all fishing gear, tackle, bait and fishing licenses for everyone aboard. You only need to bring your favorite drinks, snacks, hats, and sunscreen. Customary gratuities between 15 and 20 % are always appreciated.
