South Florida Kayak Bass Fishing is a real “and-now-for-something-completely-different” type of experience. It combines a kayak, bass, and South Florida freshwater fishing. Talk about hands on experience - it doesn’t get closer than this.
If you haven’t tried fishing before, you’re surely gonna love it. If you have never been in a kayak before, you’re going to love it even more. Captain Randy will be your guide for the day, and will take you out atop waters that boats can’t easily reach.
These trips are great for a number of reasons. If you care about keeping the fish alive, no worries - all fish are released back. The focus is on catching them, and getting to understand the craft of fishing from a unique perspective.
You’ll go after Largemouth Bass and Snakeheads. And, the famous Peacock Bass. These fish are purely ravenous - they’ll eat nearly anything that happens to be in the canals of South Florida cityscape. They are the target of numerous local and visiting anglers, and a local attraction that should be on any angler’s bucket list.
They might seem small, but their bite is strong. Captain Randy will supply you with the fishing gear, and guide you around the canals. You can be of any level of expertise, but you must be able to paddle your own kayak.
For maximum fun, the captain will take up to two kayaks at a time, but larger groups of up to four may be catered upon request. Captain Randy wants your trip to be worth the while, and he will focus on your experience.
So, how it works? You’ll be fishing from a new FeelFree Lure 11.5 Kayak, built in 2017. Once you’re ready to go, paddle around the urban waters of Broward and Miami Dade counties. Try light tackle, cast a jig, pop and spin - you will be in for a treat!
The captain will bring the fishing gear, lures, life jackets, snacks and drinks. Then, it’s all about old school angling, and with South Florida Kayak Bass Fishing, you’re going to love every bit of it!
