Captain Eric Lund’s Backcountry FIshing Charters invites you to experience shallow water fishing in the Florida Keys. Come fish with him in the Oceanside and backcountry flats of Islamorada, Key Largo, and the Everglades National Park. Whether you want to explore with light tackle or fly fishing equipment, Captain Eric will make sure your trip in southern Florida is an enjoyable one.
Fishing in the shallow waters of the Florida Keys can be productive no matter which location you visit. Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Bonefish, Ladyfish, Barracuda, and the Sharks can be found here in different seasons. Fishing with Captain Eric, your trip can be productive and educational.
You will fish aboard a 16’ Dolphin Super Skiff originally built in 1986 and restored in 2012. The vessel features all the necessary safety equipment, a GPS to locate the best fishing spots, a Yeti Tundra 45 icebox, and a livewell for the bait.
Captain Eric Lund’s Backcountry FIshing Charters will provide everything you need to be successful on the water. If you need advice and guidance, Captain Eric is patient and good at explaining. He carries all the gear you need (although you are welcome to bring your own) and he provides live and artificial bait, too.
Please come equipped with polarized sunglasses, sunscrean, a hat, and a rain jacket. A cooler with ice and bottled water is supplied on board.
