Mtz Adventures runs fishing trips around reefs and flats of the Galveston Bay. If you’re a novice angler looking for a fun ride on the water, or a serious fisherman looking to land big catch, these trips provide great opportunity to have a memorable day out.
Captain Luis Martinez has 25 years of experience fishing the area, and knows where to find the finest fish Galveston has to offer. His goal is to deliver an enjoyable, fun, and memorable outing. You will test your skills against Redfish and Spotted Seatrout as the main prize, but if you like, you can also fish for Black Drum and Flounder.
You will join Captain Luis aboard his 23’ Gulf Coast center console. She is powered by 200 HP Evinrude E-Tec engines, and can reach speeds of up to 38 knots. The boat can provide comfort to as maximum four anglers. She is rigged with GPS and a fishfinder of Lowrance make, and stores the standard safety equipment.
The boat also has a live bait well, and an ice box, and when the heat kicks in, the T top will provide the shade you need. The boat can cruise smoothly through shallow waters, as well as the open bay waters.
When you head out, the captain will provide rods, reels, and tackle, and lures. You can get live bait at additional cost. The captain serves water onboard. After you reach your limit, the captain will clean and fillet your catch, so that you can take it home and have a tasty meal.
Captain Luis fishes the entire season. He will gladly answer any questions you have before the trip. When you’re packing, bring snacks and drinks, and your valid Texas fishing license. Dress proper clothing, and put on a fishing hat and sunglasses.
Once you’re ready, take your camera to capture your outing, and step onboard your adventure around the Galveston Bay Complex!
