Captain Derek Ward is a Florida native with a passion for fishing. Hop aboard his 25’ Sportsman bay boat. She’s ideal for up to 4 anglers and powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. She also features a wireless trolling motor, an icebox, a live well, safety equipment, as well as GPS and Fishfinder to aid you in your search of the fish.
Fishing in the Fort Myers Beach and Estero Bay area means you’ll target a variety of incredible inshore fish. Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Bull Sharks, and more are on your target list. You’ll use a variety of techniques including spinning or fly fishing on light or heavy tackle. It’ll be both an educational and fun experience!
Hooked Up Charters provides rods, reels, tackle, bait, drinks, and fish processing at the end of the trip. Capt. Derek loves seeing kids getting into this sport so he strongly encourages guests to bring along their youngsters!
