My wife and I got to the beach at 7 am and were greeted by Salatiel and his crew. The sea was a little choppy and the fish were not in to mood to bite. But we still caught a few during our trip. They call it fishing for a reason haha. The best part about the trip was we got to do more than just sit on the boat and troll. Salatiel gave my wife an I fishing rods and explained the techniques that we would be using for the day. Then put on the music and away went.
I would strongly recommend booking with him the crew was a blast to fish with for the day.

This morning we went on a fishing trip with captain Salatiel and his crew. We started off with trolling till we arrived at the spot where we fished for bait fish. After we caught enough bait fish we went to deeper water and started fishing for grouper and Amberjack. The first big fish we landed was a lemon shark with a length of 2m. After that we quickly hooked another fish. This time it was an amberjack. Sadly The top part only made it to the surface because a shark had eaten more than half of the fish. We also caught a barracuda and a lot of Bonita’s. Captain Salatiel put us right on the fish. He is a professional captain with a lot of experience. We had a great time and when we come back to Playa del Carmen we would definitely book him again. I recommend this fisher to everyone who wants to have a great time on the water.

We had such a FANTASTIC time with Capt. Salas and Fst. Mate Gabriel!

We did a 6 hour trip with our two young children (6 and 8), Salas and Gabriel were knowledgeable, fun, kind, and everything you could ask for in a crew to take you out for the day. We felt completely safe, the boat was immaculate, and we had a wonderful time.

We opted NOT to troll or jig fish for the larger fish (too much patience to ask for in two young children) and Salas was perfect at getting us on some more active, bottom fishing of small fish (more fun for the kids) would absolutely recommend, and we will be going out again next time we visit!! Thank you Gardi Crew!!!

My wife and I went fishing with Captain Salas and Gabriel of Gardi Crew a few days back and had a great 4 hour trip. The weather conditions were not perfect (windy with choppy seas) but we decided to fish anyway as we only had a couple of days left and it didn’t look like the conditions were going to improve. We had the boat to ourselves for just over £200, what a bargain! Communication was great, he replied to all my questions promptly and politely.
Captain Salas did his best to put us on the fish, and we had a few nice Barracuda and also lost a couple, on a day with far from perfect conditions.
I’ll certainly be booking with these guys again next time I’m here. Great guides, would highly recommend!

Had the most amazing trip with captain Salas and his crew,From making the booking he kept in touch, We met him on the beach such a lovely man, The boat and equipment where top notch, He knew the area so well, first rod in for me got me a sail fish 70lb+ which was more special as they are out of season, My huband caught a good size Amberjack and we lost two groupers, I can not recommend these guys enough, so friendly, professional, and Knowledgeable, Thank you Gardi crew for are fantastic trip x
