Peter's Net's Fishing Adventures
Louisiana has some of the most diverse fishing in the world. The mangrove forests, hidden inlets, gorgeous flats, and bountiful waterways provide you with plenty of opportunities to grab that dream catch - Peter’s Net’s Fishing Adventures has the expertise to make sure you have the best shot possible!
The boat you’ll fish from is a 24’ Skeeter bay boat, recently restored. She’s powered by an impressive 200 HP Evinrude outboard engine. That kind of juice gives the boat an impressive maximum cruising speed of 45 knots, you won’t be wasting any time getting to the fishing spot!
Captain Don Maille will take you and up to 3 other anglers on a great fishing adventure in the inshore fishing waters of Louisiana. You can expect to go after Black Drum, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Sheepshead, and others. The techniques available are drift fishing, bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, and popping with light tackle. Captain Don will assist and instruct you in any of these techniques and you can rest assured you are in good hands. All required equipment is provided by the captain.
Cleaning and filleting your catch is available free of charge. Live bait wells and live bait are also available for use, without an extra fee. The minimum age for children is 6, kids under 13 will need to wear life vests at all times, and parents are required to provide a life vest if their child is under 10 years old. Keep in mind everyone on board whether fishing or not should purchase a fishing license. You can get a 3-day permit through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
