Operating out of Brownsville, Tightlines Charters invites you to explore the timeless Texas waters and learn everything there is about wading and drift fishing.
Captain Aaron Cisneros has fished the lower Laguna for over 15 years. Starting at a young age, his father taught him artificial wade fishing. He stuck with it and offers strictly artificial wade fishing/drifting trips. He has a passion for fishing and still gots the drive!
Join him aboard his 25’ majek illusion flats boat and enjoy the clear water down on the lower Laguna Madre. She can cater to up to 4 anglers of all experience levels fishing simultaneously and comes powered by a new 300 HP Suzuki engine, you won’t have to worry about the outdated amenities on this boat. It features the latest in safety gear, a GPS, and an ice-box.
The captain will show you the best of flats and your weapon of choice will be light tackle and fly gear. The main targets will be Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Flounder.
You’ll get to choose what you want your day to be like – spend the entire trip fly fishing, wading, or split the time between both. The captain is happy with whatever the customer wants and will accommodate all their fishing desires.
Wading is offered on all trips – the captain provides all the gear and has various sizes of wading boots/trousers for kids, women, and men. If you choose to go wading, the boat will take you to a good spot where you’ll anchor and then wade. Tightlines Charters trips are perfect for families because you can do a combo of serious fishing for adults and then spend the rest of the trip wading with the kids.
If you want to go fly fishing, just bring your lucky rod and the captain will provide the flies. You’ll be supplied with all the other fishing gear by brands such as Action Fishing Tackle and Fishing Tackle Unlimited.
Book a trip with Tightlines Charters and you’re guaranteed to have your lines tight!
