Step aboard a 21’ Sportsman 214 Tournament Bay boat. This vessel has the sleek design of a flats boat combined with the spaciousness of a bay boat, allowing up to 4 passengers to fish comfortably while stalking shallow waters.

She’s powered by a 150 HP Yamaha V6 engine and comes equipped with advanced fishing technology. On board you will find GPS, Fishfinder, a wireless trolling motor, and a live bait well.

While fishing inshore you can catch many species such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and more. Capt. Shane has experience in fly fishing, live bait fishing, and fishing with artificial lures. No matter which technique you choose, he is prepared to put you on fish.

Pluff Mud Fishing Charters provides a fishing license and all the gear you need, featuring St. Croix rods with Penn reels. Fly fishing equipment is also available for you to use. At the end of the trip, Capt. Shane will clean and fillet any catch you choose to keep.

Capt. Shane Shields grew up fly fishing the Nantahala River in the mountains of North Carolina. When he migrated south for love, he discovered the warm, salty Low Country waters. For the past few years he's enjoyed fishing the Charleston inlands and navigating her unparalleled pluff mud shores. Capt. Shane's favorite fishing buddy is his dog Banks, but what he enjoys most of all is taking new friends out on the water and bending some rods. He caters to all skill levels, from the novice to the experienced angler.
