Hooked Up Charter Fishing is located on Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula, chartering out of the port of Lac La Belle. Captain Steve Erbisch runs fishing trips in the abundant waters of Lake Superior. If you’re looking for an experienced guide who loves to teach and is genuinely happy when his guests catch fish, read on!
You’ll fish aboard a 25’ Chris-Craft Catalina Express Cruiser with a capacity for up to 6 passengers. Powered by a 240 HP Chevrolet engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 20 knots, the vessel is efficient in getting you to the productive fishing grounds.
This comfortable vessel features an enclosed cabin with a bed and a portable toilet for your convenience. The onboard GPS and Fishfinder will help you locate the best fishing spots and the icebox will keep your catch fresh.
Capt. Steve has fished the Keweenaw Peninsula his whole life and has learned the spawning and feeding patterns of the fish that populate and visit this area. You will mostly target Lake Trout but might also come by Brown Trout, Steelhead, Chinook and Coho Salmon. Please note, Coho is only here for 3–4 weeks from late July to mid-August.
Capt. Steve provides fishing gear in the form of Okuma rods and reels, a variety of tackle and bait, and a fish processing service at the end. You may want to bring snacks and beverages (adult beverages are permitted, however, excess consumption may result in a shortened trip-at the Captain’s discretion). You’ll need to have your fishing licenses with you, too.
All that’s left to do is get out and have a great time on the water with Hooked Up Charters!
