Reel Time Charters offers nearshore and offshore fishing trips out of Sausalito, CA. Join an experienced captain who is ready to put his talent to work for you, fishing for some of the most popular species in the San Francisco Bay Area!
Step aboard a 28’ Boston Whaler Conquest, ideal for up to 4 anglers. Powered by twin 250 HP Mercury Verado engines, this vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 30 knots. She will get you to the fishing grounds and back in comfort as fast as conditions on the water allow.
On board you will find the latest fishing technology. Many onboard amenities cater to your comfort, including a toilet, air conditioning, and a multimedia system.
Meet Captain Phil Havlicek, a local guide with extensive experience in fishing and surfing. He will help you target the fish this area is famous for, including Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Rockfish, and more.
You’ll employ a variety of techniques, such as drifting for Halibut, trolling for Salmon.. In November you may be able to fish for crab during a 2 week period when the season is open.
No matter what fishing experience you’re hoping to have, you can trust that Capt. Phil will help you get the most out of it. He will customize your trip in any way you want, so long as the weather makes it possible. Come aboard for a few hours to test the waters or head out to the Farallon Islands where you will find especially large Rockfish.
Reel Time Charters rents top of the line rods and reels for just $15 per rod. Trolling weights are not provided and are strongly recommended to be brought along by customers. If not, the captain can provide weights at $8 per 2.5lb and $7 per 2lb.
There may be a fuel surcharge depending on the type of trip requested. You are welcome to keep the fish that you catch. Be sure to bring a California fishing license.
