You can try a variety of techniques, including trolling, spinning, jigging, and more. If bringing your own gear, here are some tips from the captain on how to get Pike and Perch:
- jerk baits, crank baits, floating plugs, and soft plastics work great in spring,
- in summer, use spinners, jigs, and spoons, as the fish go deeper.
These fish can grow super big, and you might catch some 10 to 20 Pikes a day. Normally, Pike weigh between four and five pounds, but can reach as much as 20!
Put on comfortable clothes, pack an extra layer in case you get wet. Bring sunglasses, and medications if prone to seasickness. Make sure to bring a camera to capture the sight! Invite your family, friends, and colleagues, and come enjoy!
