Guatemala is the home of some of the biggest and hardest-fighting fish on the planet, and none know it better than Guatemala Fishing Tours! Captain Miguel Angel Garcia prowls the local nearshore and offshore waters every day, so if you’d like to target your next monster catch, you should come to him.
Guatemalan waters are teeming with all the superstars of sport fishing – from Marlin to Mahi Mahi, you can hook just about anything here. Whether it’s Blue, Black, Striped, or White Marlin you’re after, you can find them here. Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, and Grouper are also in the cards, and so many more.
Fishing is incredible year-round, but if there’s a particular species you’d like to catch, you should consult your captain when would be the best time to book your trip. You can try your luck using various techniques, and if you’d like to do fly fishing or spearfishing, it’s possible, as long as you bring your own gear. Otherwise, quality Penn and Shimano equipment will be provided.
Come aboard captain’s 25’ Wellcraft center console that can easily accommodate up to 4 anglers, and have them fishing at the same time. You’ll have outriggers to cover more water and reliable electronics to show you where the fish hide. If you catch a species that is good eating, Capt. Miguel Angel will clean and fillet it for your convenience.
In case you’re coming with children, make sure they’re 3 and older and remember to bring their favorite life jackets. Another important thing to note is that if you’re paying with your credit card, there will be an 8% processing fee. While your guide will have everything fishing-related ready for you, remember to pack some drinks, snacks, and sunscreen for your expedition.
Go fishing with Guatemala Fishing Tours and hit these prolific waters to hook your biggest catch yet!
