Reel To Reel Sportfishing invites you on an unforgettable fishing adventure in the prime fishing grounds off of Block Island, Rhode Island. The charter is owned and operated by Captain Scott Lundberg who is dedicated to putting his guests on the fish and having high customer satisfaction since 1993!
Rhode Island sportfishing is excellent with inshore species like Fluke, Blackfish, Seabass, and Porgy being available in great numbers. Offshore fishing for schooling Tuna is also amazing due to the geographic positioning of Rhode Island and the nutrient rich waters that surround it. A multitude of fishing techniques is used by the crew and that means you get to learn new techniques, too.
Fishing is done aboard a 40’ Young Brothers Downeast originally built in 1999 with a capacity for six guests. The meticulously kept boat is powered by a 485 HP Detroit Diesel engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 17 knots. The boat is equipped with all the safety features you could imagine including a 10-person life raft, latest state-of-the-art electronics used to locate the best fishing grounds, a private toilet, and a cabin which is enclosed and heated.
Reel To Reel Sportfishing have made sure their vessel is a real sportfishing machine that features Penn reels and Starr rods, and a variety of tackle and lures. You will have a first mate on board to help you with baiting your hooks and reeling in the fish, as well as fish processing at the end of the trip.
Fishing licenses are included so all you have to bring along are beverages and food for the day. Make sure you have a pair of sunglasses and warm clothes on!
We do not pick up from Montauk.
