Steelhead fishing has been good for us here in West Michigan and should continue to get better as we get later into fall. It is mid Oct now, and we have had a few decent pushes of fresh fish in from the lake. This is my favorite time to be steelhead fishing because the fish are in prime shape and full of energy. Both Nov and Dec are great months to be on the river steelhead fishing. As we get later into fall, the fishing typically gets better and angler pressure drops with the temperature.
