Step aboard a 28’ fiberglass Vega powered by twin 50 HP Honda engines. This craft comes equipped with everything you need for sport fishing, including outriggers, tuna tubes, a live bait well, and a fighting chair. An onboard toilet allows you to fish all day without sacrificing your comfort. This boat can carry up to five passengers, and children are welcome.
While fishing off the coast of Mazatlán you will be spoiled for choice, with both world renowned deep sea fishing and excellent bottom fishing available to you. Pepe’s Fleet provides fishing gear by Penn and Shimano, along with a variety of lures.
Join the crew for their specialty, and bottom fish for Red Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Spanish Mackerel, and more. They will take you 15 to 18 miles north of Mazatlán to some of the most productive spots around, where you will fish with shrimp, shrimp heads, and squid. You may also troll for super-sized “Orange” Red Snapper and Seabass using Rapala lures.
Or head out to the blue water for the deep sea fishing that Mazatlán is famous for. The crew can take you up to 25 miles offshore, where you will find Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Swordfish, and more. You will troll for these trophies using 60 lb test line, lures, and live bait such as Bonito and Ballyhoo. Please note live bait is charged extra.
Pepe’s Fleet provides a fishing license, gear, lunch (2 free lunches), drinks, and pickup service from your hotel. You may keep your catch and the crew will clean it for you. Please let the captain know where you’re staying so he could make pickup arrangements.
