La Patrona operates out of the renowned fishing town of Cancun, Mexico, fishing the deep blue waters of the Gulf in search of Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and more.
You can also hit the area’s vibrant reefs to target Grouper, Snapper, Barracuda, and other top table and game species, making your trip even more exciting and productive.
La Patrona is a 46’ Post sportfishing boat, powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines with a combined output of 900 HP. The boat is equipped with a Garmin GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, and Penn International downriggers.
Below deck, you will find two comfortable staterooms complete with ensuite bathrooms, and plenty of space to relax in the cool. The vessel also has a high-quality Hi-Fi to let you fish to your own soundtrack.
In order to ensure the best fishing experience possible, La Patrona is outfitted with nothing but tournament-grade tackle. Shimano Tyrnos and Tiagra 50W 2 Speed Reels, and at least 8 rods on board.
You will be set up for any style of fishing, with tackle ranging from Penn Carnage II and Shimano Trevala to Penn International V. The crew also employs a variety of lures depending on your chosen target species.
Captain Miguel Garcia, has over 25 years of experience in the fishing business in Cancún and Riviera Maya area. He knows the local waters intimately and is well-versed in the best techniques to use depending on the conditions.
Captain Miguel’s skilled crew will be in charge of aiding you throughout your fishing trip. They are always more than happy to share their top trick with their guests and will work tirelessly to make sure you get exactly what you want from your day on the water.
All trips come with tackle, lures, live bait, and licenses, and the crew will also clean and fillet all your catch at the end of the trip. So whether you want a morning on the reef or 10 hours offshore, you can trust the La Patrona team to get you hooked on that fish of your dreams.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
