We could not give a higher recommendation! We had so much fun. Buddy helped guide our kids (9 year-olds) perfectly and they loved their first saltwater fishing experience.

We caught numerous species of fish and Buddy taught us something new about every one we caught. We fished three different spots and each one was unique and equally good. The final spot was targeting sharks for my husband and me, and it was incredible. We caught a lemon and had a very upclose experience with a hammerhead! It was NatGeo caliber!

Our priority was a great experience for our kids and they can’t stop talking about when we can go again. So I definitely recommend this for parents who want the same. However, it was equally enjoyable for the adults so it’s just as highly recommended for an all-adult outing. Buddy caters the trip to what you want to catch and your comfort level. He is a long-time resident, even longer-time fisherman and guide, and extremely knowledgeable about the area.

From the stand point of someone who has spent years working in the fishing industry myself, I can say I have not worked with a more pleasant, patient, and caring captain! Capt. Buddy is a class act who provides knowledgeable advice and tips to ensure a great trip! He is one of the nicest people you wish to meet as well! Overall one of the best experiences I have had on the water! If you are an experienced fisherman or someone who has never touched a rod, Capt. Buddy is the perfect choice!

Had a blast on Capt. Buddy’s boat. My wife booked the trip for our family for my birthday, and what a great present it was. The Captain put us on a variety of tasty fish throughout the afternoon, plus I got to tangle with 6+ foot nurse shark which I fought for at least 20 minutes and got to the boat. The Captain capped off our evening with a great sunset before motoring in and cleaning our catch. I highly recommend Captain Buddy for anglers of any skill level, because no matter your skill or lack there of, he will put you on fish, and be friendly and accommodating with great gear, knowledge and local lore. Two thumbs up.

Captain Buddy was one of the best fishing charters I’ve ever been on. It was a tough fishing week in the Keys but he got us into a mess of snappers, and my wife even caught a shark! His charter made us feel as if we were really fishing. He would advise us on what to do and helped us when it was needed. He is very laid back with loads of experience. I only wished that we had more time to fish with him. Thanks, Captain!

Buddy was great. We had to cancel prior trip due to high winds but Buddy found another AM 4 hr trip just 3 days later. Wife and I keep 10 nice mango snapper in 1 1/2 to 2 lbs range. 5 fish per person per day is limit. Probable lost over 10 fish to sharks. I landed a 5 ft nurse shark on snapper light tackle.
We fished the bay area. And it was a great trip!  ?
