Double M Outdoors offers fully guided fishing trips on some of Oregon’s most beautiful waters. Captain Matt Myers enjoys nothing more than helping his customers land their first fish. No matter your skill level, he welcomes you aboard to enjoy fishing for the most sought-after species swimming along the Columbia River, Willamette River, and the North Oregon Coast!
You will fish aboard a 26’ Alumaweld powered by twin 150 HP Mercury engines. This craft comes equipped with everything you need, from safety equipment and GPS to top of the line gear. On board you will find comfortable seating with armrests. There is room for up to six passengers, and you will find the boat to be very spacious, even when full.
Depending on the season, you will have a chance to fish for Salmon, Steelhead Trout, Walleye, and Sturgeon. Capt. Matt will guide you through the scenic waters of Oregon, wherever the fish are biting most at the time. You can target Salmon during several different runs, including the spring run from March through the June, the June Hog season in summer, or the famous Buoy 10 Fishery in August.
You can also enjoy fishing for Steelhead, Walleye, and Sturgeon. Walleye is a hard fighting catch which also makes for superb table fare. On the other hand, catch-and-release fishing for Sturgeon is an exhilarating pastime year-round. Capt. Matt even offers a custom Salmon and Sturgeon trip so you can target both of these species at once.
Trips launch from various locations, including Fairview, Astoria, The Dalles, and Oregon City. Capt. Matt will make sure that you fish the season’s best location, and you will always enjoy a scenic ride.
