Tails Up Sportfishing
Tails Up Sportfishing invites you out to a morning or afternoon on the water with Captain Jeff Verdone and his first mate. Fishing out of Bronte Harbour, in the Western Basin of Lake Ontario, these two lifelong fishermen will do their utmost to give you the best chance of reeling in the fish of a lifetime. Anglers of all experience levels are more than welcome, and that includes kids as well.
Their boat is a 28’ Wellcraft Prima that’s powered by twin 175 HP V6 Mercruiser engine, and comes with a toilet, bed, and wash down hose. It’s outfitted with the latest and greatest in fish finding technology and GPS to make sure you’re on the fish at all times. There’s quite enough room on the boat for up to five prospective anglers, so make sure to bring others along for the ride.
Tails Up Sportfishing specializes in trolling for Salmon, Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Proper Salmon fishing takes skill and practice, and the crew will be more than happy to help you every step of the way. As an added bonus, if you go on a trip during July and August, you’ll be automatically entered into the Great Ontario Salmon Derby.
The price of any given trip will include rods, reels, and terminal tackle. The crew will clean and fillet your catch after the trip so you don’t have to. Just don’t forget to bring a valid fishing license and a pair of polarized sunglasses, and you’re all set for an unforgettable freshwater adventure.
