If you are looking for a charter that can easily do offshore or inshore trips, then Double Trouble Sportfishing will be the perfect match for you. Captain Chris Gergely offers something for everyone and will make sure you have a great time on the water.
You will spend the day aboard a Topaz 32 Express Sportfish. She is renowned for her offshore capabilities in rough water, so even if the waves are rough you’ll feel safe and sound on board.
Her 35’ length will give you and 5 fishing friends plenty of space to fish without knocking elbows. There is enough storage for your food, drink, and personal belongings.
Powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines, she also boasts a generator on board to power all your creature comforts while on the water. Safety is paramount to Capt. Chris, so his vessel is equipped with the most up-to-date Raymarine navigation, radar, fishfinder, and Sirius satellite weather and radio.
For those rare moments of rest between catches, there is ample seating to relax. You will stay dry on the drive out with a fully enclosed helm deck with a hardtop. You will be in comfort the whole ride, with air conditioning, a heated cabin, and an enclosed stand-up head with a freshwater sink. What more could you ask for?
Double Trouble Sportfishing pride itself on having one of the cleanest and fastest charter boats in the Watch Hill, Westerly fleet. They have quality custom rods and reels by Penn, Avet, so when you are reeling in the big boys your gear won’t let you down!
Depending on whether you are fishing inshore or offshore, you will target a range of species, such as Yellowfin Tuna, Mako Shark, Mahi Mahi, Striped Bass, Flounder, Black Seabass, and many more.
You will need to bring along food and drink, but everything else is provided for, including gear, bait, fishing license, and filleting of your catch.
