If you haven’t fished in the UAE, the question you should be asking yourself is, why not? These productive, crystal clear waters should be at the top of your bucket list. And when you head over there, you should fish with Fujairah International Marine Club – a pair of boats, you are sure to find a trip that suits you.
You will spend the day on a beautifully maintained 31’ Golf Craft boat, that can easily have you and 6 fishing friends on board. With twin 225 HP Yamaha engines, fishfinder, and Captain Sasha Ivanchenko’s extensive knowledge of the area, you’ll have your lines in the water and hooking your trophy fish before you know it.
Depending on the season and which trip you choose, you can expect to target Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Sailfish, Marlin, Amberjack, Barracuda, Grouper, and more. These fish will really test your skills, making it so much more satisfying when you finally reel them in.
Your skill level will determine which techniques you use. Capt. Sasha will adapt and change his tactics based on your abilities, making sure you get the most out of your day. You might even have a preferred method, which he will happily accommodate wherever possible.
All rods and reels are supplied by Fujairah International Marine Club. If you have a lucky rod you wish to use, you are welcome to bring that along too, just let the captain know beforehand. Drinks are also supplied, although you should bring along your own snacks. For the longer trips especially you will want to keep your energy up!
Bottom trips are great for trying something new and learning about a different technique of fishing, commonly used by the locals here. Using handline, and both dead bait and squid, you will target 3 species of Grouper, as well as Shark and Barracuda. These trips are shorter, so can be squeezed into even the busiest schedule.
Don’t hesitate, book this amazing adventure today!
