Miss Nautica and Captain Art Smith invite you to enjoy a day on the emerald coast waters out of Destin, Florida. Capt. Art has spent over five decades fishing and diving all around the globe, dedicating the last 25 years to the waters of the world’s ‘Luckiest Fishing Village.’
Capt. Art will take you fishing every stretch of water in the Gulf of Mexico. Whatever fishing experience you are hoping to have, rest assured that the captain and his crew will go the extra mile to make your trip one to remember.
Your First Mate will get ready for your adventure way before daybreak. He will clean the boat, get your ice and all the safety equipment. When you step on board, the crew will greet you with a warm welcome and help you stow your gear.
You will head out of the Destin Harbor to catch the live bait. On your way to the fishing grounds, there will be plenty of fish stories and tips, as well as the spectacular views. The First Mate will assist you throughout the adventure and will cut and bag your catch when you return to shore.
You will be fishing for whatever is in season and biting, focusing on Red Snapper, Amberjack, Spanish Mackerel, Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, King Mackerel, and even Blue Marlin.
Capt. Art and the crew will take you out aboard the ‘Miss Nautica,’ a 48’ custom-built boat. She features a walk-around deck with a large fishing cockpit. The Miss Nautica comes powered by three 120 HP Detroit engines and can take up to 44 passengers. She is fully outfitted with professional tools and electronics, as well as everything you need to have a comfortable day on the water.
