You will set sail aboard a 35’ Contender powered by twin 350 HP Yamaha engines. This vessel boasts a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots and top of the line safety equipment. On board you will find everything you need, including GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, and a live bait well. There’s room for up to six passengers and children are welcome.
While fishing off the coast of Wrightsville Beach you will have your choice of nearshore and offshore fishing. A half day trip keeps you within five miles of shore, fishing for Mackerel, Cobia, Red Drum, Flounder, Sharks, and an assortment of bottom fish.
Adding a couple more hours to your trip gives you the chance to head offshore, where you can target Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Sharks, and more. Spend a full day on board and make the most of your time on the water, casting lines up to 25 miles offshore.
If you’re looking for the ultimate prize, book a trip to the Gulfstream and the Blue Water. This 12 hour trip will take you as far as 65 miles out, where you can hook into Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and more.
In late fall and winter you can fish for Bluefin Tuna, one of the most sought-after delicacies in the sea. In recent years, this fish has been showing up in greater numbers right off the coast of The Cape Fear region, and Capt. Worth is prepared to help you make the most of it.
Wrightsville Beach Fishing Charters include Shimano fishing gear and bait. Anglers age 16 and older must bring a fishing license.
