Dulce Coco Fishing offers the ultimate sportfishing experience for seasoned anglers looking to battle the biggest fish the ocean can throw at you. US-born Captain Paco Vela and his bilingual crew have built up a reputation as some of the best in the business, dominating the local tournaments and working with top brands to test the industry’s latest breakthroughs.
The Dulce Coco is a 41’ Hatteras sportfisher loaded up with the latest and greatest in sportfishing equipment. Tuna tubes, fighting chairs, outriggers, downriggers – you name it, she’s got it. This vessel is famous around Punta Cana and beyond, and when the best of the best roll into town, they know the boat they want to be on.
You will be launching out of the prestigious Marina Cap Cana, heading straight out to the deep blue waters offshore to either troll or deep drop for a huge variety of species. Deep dropping can bring in some awesome catches of deep sea fish, famed for their delicious taste and weird looks.
What Dulce Coco Fishing specializes in, though, is battling big game pelagics like Marlin and Sailfish. On 10-hour trips, you will be taken out to the FADs way offshore. You will spend the day battling monster Blue Marlin, super-sized Sailfish, and other species like the rare Shortbilled Spearfish - one of the most elusive of the Billfish Royal Slam.
Shorter trips still provide some awesome action. Even on a half day, you can hit deep water reefs or troll the blue for Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, and White Marlin (when in season). Whatever you do, you can count on Captain Paco to give you the fishing experience of your life!
All trips come with tournament-grade tackle and a variety of quality lures, some of which were developed right here onboard. You will also be given plenty of bait, fishing licenses for everyone onboard, and enough snacks, drinks, and food to keep you going through your hard-fought battles offshore.
