Captain Harvey is based in Ocean Isle Beach NC, but also fishes the nearby waters of Sunset Beach, Holden Beach, Oak Island, Calabash, and Little River SC. Captain Harvey’s thrilling inshore and nearshore fishing experiences are tailored for all levels —from families looking for a fun day on the water to seasoned anglers chasing that next personal-best trophy fish.
* INSHORE TRIPS stay in protected waters, away from the ocean, and target Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum. This trip is perfect for anglers who love fishing the ICW and the backwaters in our area saltwater creeks, flats, and rivers.
* KIDS FISHING TRIPS stay inshore in safe, calm waters and target easy-to-catch species, giving your kids plenty of action. These trips are also 2 hours to limit their time in the sun, keep their attention, and to make the trip more affordable for families. If you want a longer trip, go with the 4 hour Inshore Charter. Also, kids are welcome on all trips, not just the kids fishing charters.
* NEARSHORE TRIPS (1-10 miles out into the ocean) are a little more adventurous and target King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Cobia, and Seabass. Trolling and bottom-fishing, depending on the season and conditions.
* SHARK FISHING TRIPS (0-3 miles out into the ocean) offer a lot of excitement, reeling in Sandbar Sharks, Sharpnose Sharks, and Hammerhead Sharks from 20-80 pounds or more. We’ll fish the inlets, as well over top of reefs and shipwrecks. Safe and fun for all ages.

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pay online in full through FishingBooker and save on credit card fees at the dock.
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 30% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
